L’Enfant Discovery Program
Explore the magic of theater and enhance your family’s experience through our Discovery Program. L’Enfant Terrible offers a family-friendly workshop or event after every performance. Events are designed to give young theater-goers a behind-the-scenes look at how theater is produced, an exploration of themes in the works they are seeing, and opportunities to meet and interact with cast members. And the events are FREE to all ticket-holders! For questions regarding theme, content, or booking please contact education@lenfantterrible.org.
Sunday Play Dates
L’Enfant Terrible theater staff will lead a fun and challenging workshop after every Sunday morning performance in June for FREE! Workshops are designed to introduce audiences of various aspects of putting on a play. Might include drama, music, choreography, costume crafts, masks, and more.
Investigate the Stage
After every Saturday afternoon performance, our directors, designers, and actors give audience members a behind-the-scenes peek into how shows are put together. Topics covered will include Shakespeare’s audience, the life of the actor, the view from the stage, props in their proper place and putting all the toys away.
L’Enfant Terrible Red Carpet
Audience members can meet the cast up close in the lobby after every performance. The actors are still in costume so bring your cameras and post pictures on our Facebook page.

Review a Performance
Young people are invited to review our productions and share their thoughts on L’Enfant Terrible and the performances they’ve seen. Send us any reviews, drawings, collages, or pictures while on one of our tours or meeting the cast and we may post it on our News page.
Gather With Us
Lunch at Bootleg
Too busy to get lunch before coming to the theater? Have lunch with us! Patrons at any performance can enjoy healthy lunch meal box. For only $10.00 per person, the Bootleg offers a delectable healthy meal box.
Saturday Morning Pajama Party
Saturday mornings can be rough- it’s the first chance to sleep in all week. But bringing the family for some live 3D performance is way better than turning on the cartoons all day. Stay dressed in your “jammies” and tickets are $2 off. We’re going to be tough on this. We’re not talking about “sweatpants and a t shirt.” We want jammies. bathrobes, onsies, slippers. The whole deal.
Celebrate a Birthday
Make your child’s next birthday unforgettable by coming to L’Enfant Terrible’s Fun Family Festival. We offer several different birthday celebrations, so you can select the one that’s just right for your child and her friends.
- Your group can enjoy a 30-minute backstage tour immediately following any weekend performance. This peek-behind-the-curtain will take you onto the stage, through the dressing rooms, up to the lighting booth, and through the wardrobe and properties storage. Bring your cameras!
- We also offer access to an open outdoor space with tent and tables. For all parties, the theater’s back-alley basketball court can be yours for an additional hour to enjoy your cake and festivities. All food, tableware, or decorations must be provided by the patron.
Birthday tours work best for parties of 10-20 youth. Birthday tours do not include the cost of tickets to the performance or lunch.
